Donna Anfuso

Owner & Lead Instructor

Donna Anfuso, co-owner and founder of Rise Pilates, has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is comprehensively trained in Pilates with 654 hours through Body Precision and is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with additional prenatal and kids yoga certifications.

Donna teaches reformer, mat, and private sessions, offering creative, supportive, and alignment-focused classes for all ages. Her goal is to help every client feel strong, confident, and empowered through mindful movement.

Jill McKenna

Owner & Lead Instructor

With 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, Jill brings a powerful blend of expertise, creativity, and passion to every class she teaches. She is certified in Peak Pilates Mat and Reformer, Exhale Barre, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, giving her a well-rounded foundation in movement, strength, and mindful conditioning.

Apart from her role at Rise, Jill is the owner of Focus Barre and Yoga in Philadelphia, where she has built a thriving community centered around empowerment and thoughtful movement. Jill’s classes are known for being energetic, form-focused, and welcoming to all levels.

Gail Wright

Instructor

Gail is a fitness professional with over 30 years of experience. Her certifications include NASM Certified Group Fitness, 200 HR Certified Yoga Instructor, Verge Yoga, Pilates Mat and Body Precision Reformer Certified Instructor, Fit Pro Programming Certified Barre Instructor and ASFA Certified Personal Trainer.  

Gail takes a positive, supportive approach and loves helping students feel healthy and capable as they build confidence, strength, and flexibility in their practice. She maintains a pro-age mindset that focuses on internal wellbeing and finding joy in caring for your health!

Kristen Coughlin

Instructor

Kristen was introduced to Pilates in 2011 and was immediately drawn to its unique blend of strength, control, and mindful movement. In March 2015, she began the Body Precision Mat Training Program and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it, continuing on to complete the Full Comprehensive Training Program in March 2019. Known for her athleticism, clear instruction, and motivating energy, Kristen brings out the best in every client, from NFL athletes to vibrant 90-year-olds who are committed to staying strong and active. For her, Pilates is not just a profession but a true passion and an integral part of her life.

Meg Murray

Instructor

Meg is a classically trained Pilates Instructor as well as a NASM Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist. Her teaching style focuses on emphasizes the body-brain connection, as well as technique and form.

Meg has a deep understanding of body mechanics as well as Pilates methodology and theory.

Sophia Murphy

Instructor

Sophia has been an athlete her whole life, competing in downhill skiing and lacrosse since the age of 10. As an adult, Sophia dabbled in virtually every group exercise type before finding her one true love - Pilates - in 2022! With Pilates, Sophia found deep core strength and improved posture that is transformative both in the studio and in day-to-day life!  Sophia received her teaching certification through the Breathe program in 2025 and is thrilled to be part of the Rise team!

When Sophia is not at the studio, she is running a national sales team for a large insurance company, chasing her very active toddler boy or boarding an airplane to an exotic vacation destination.
